Church Service at Nairobi International Christian Centre
Today was a great day of the Lord as we continue sharpening the ax towards the planting of Generations Church (GC) under Assemblies of God in Zambia (AG). We attended two Sunday worship services at Nairobi International Christian Centre - the Adults and Youth Services. God works through generations and each generation has a purpose.
In every generation, there are individuals that God can use to realise his purposes. Are you ready to be that individual? The best individual decision is to say yes to God. Do it afraid, do it scared but do it anyway! God is able to do through any individual far, above and beyond for his glory. You must choose to be planted in the purposes of God - will you? #Tuleya #agzambia5000by50 #GCAG
Happy New month everyone Pastor Popota
As you seek to honour God and to put him first throughout the month of July and beyond, we refer you to the word of God in Psalms 121:3-8 and so we read and pray: 3 He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; 4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The Lord watches over you — the Lord is your shade at your right hand; 6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; 8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going In Jesus Name! Hallelujah and Amen! #Tuleya #agzambia5000by50 #GCAG
Prayers with Children at Generations Church
Today during our time of prayer at Generations Church, six kids drew closer to the Tabernacle. As they watched us praying, we invited them to join us in the prayers and their excitement was just our of this world. One of them even led us in a praise song. Their faith, humility, and trust was so real. Indeed the kingdom of God belongs to those who receive it with trust and humility as a child. Generations Church will have a very special and intentional approach to Children, Teens and Youth ministries. Keep praying, we are on a journey of faith. Next steps will be announced soon. #Tuleya #agzambia5000by50 #GCAG
Our Emotional day as a family
Yesterday was an emotionally loaded day for me and my family. I was given an opportunity by my Pastor, Bishop Mackson Mando to preach to the congregation my last message as member of Ebenezer Assembly. \ Wish I could share highlights of the message but let me move on to the emotional part.
I and my family bid farewell to the church that has been a spiritual home for us since 2017. What a day this was for us. We tried to hold off tears in my farewell address but hey could we? We broke down into a sobbing family heap.
Thank you Ebenezer Assembly for the great spiritual life journey you accorded us, thank you for the opportunity to serve and grow in the church, you will always be home for us. Today we are officially members of Generations Church (GC), the church I am assigned Pastor by the mercies of God.
GC is the newest church plant of the Assemblies of God in Zambia and now all our Church activities will be in and around GC. The work to be done is bigger than us and we are praying for a team and partners. Keep praying for us and GC.
Those who wish to start this journey with us, feel free to contact me. Let’s go for the Lord! Tuleya!
